On Saturday, January 30th the third edition of the Dutch Brain Olympiad took place online. Students followed several lectures and competed with each in quizzes about the brain (among others; brain anatomy and brain diseases). Eventually, June won the exciting final and gets to represent The Netherlands this year in the International Brain Bee. Besides the quizzes, the students also followed a live online live dissection of a calf brain by Stichting Brein in Beeld and followed an interactive keynote lecture from Professor Frans Cornelissen about visual illusions. There was also a Brain Expo, where students could interact with researchers about their presented posters.
